Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development;
• At least 3 years of experience specifically with Ruby on Rails;
• Deep understanding of the Rails framework, including MVC architecture, Active Record, and RESTful design principles;
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js;
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs;
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining automated tests using RSpec, Capybara, or similar tools.
• Proficient with Git and version control workflows (e.g., GitFlow);
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines);
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud;
• Understanding and experience with microservices;
• Skills in optimizing application performance and scalability;
•  Knowledge of web application security best practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical interviews and assessments for a Ruby on Rails developers;
• Offer expert guidance on Ruby on Rails best practices, architecture, and performance optimization;
• Collaborate with teams to enhance Ruby on Rails applications and resolve technical challenges;
• Optionally, assist in project estimation and planning based on Ruby on Rails frameworks.
