Required Skills

4+ years of experience in PHP development;
Strong proficiency in the Laravel framework. Knowledge of Symphony is a plus;
Good refactoring skills;
Experience with Unit testing;
Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX;
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases;
Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Vue.js or React;
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations;
- Understanding of modern PHP development practices and tools;
- Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies;
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools;
- Understanding Design patterns.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain PHP-based applications using Laravel framework;
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code;
Perform code refactoring and optimization when necessary;
Implement and execute unit tests to ensure robustness and reliability;
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;
Design and implement database schemas, queries, and transactions using MySQL or other relational databases;
Utilize version control systems, especially Git, effectively in a team environment;
Work independently on assigned tasks and contribute actively in team discussions and code reviews;
Solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions and attention to detail;
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and discuss technical solutions;
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, and apply them as appropriate to improve project efficiency and quality.

About the project

The client is located in Los Angeles and it is a must to work according to his time zone (at least 6 hours). The client develops and maintains an advertising platform which is a network between publishers and advertisers. Our goal is developing applications in the domain of advertising with primary emphasis on back-end , but with elements of front end work, which is not so heavy
