Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Liferay Developer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java development and web technologies
  • Experience with Liferay Portal, including customization, portlet development, and theme development
  • Proficient in Java,  Spring
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Strong understanding of Liferay architecture and concepts
  • Experience with database management systems, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Java,  Spring
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Requirements

  •  Deep understanding of Liferay development, including component, theme, and layout template development
  •  Experience with Liferay's API for content management and customization
  • Familiarity with integrating Liferay with external systems using webhooks or other mechanisms to notify the backend system about changes in Liferay
  • Understanding of Liferay's notification and workflow system to configure and manage notifications to the backend queue effectively
 

Nice to have

  • Certifications: Liferay certifications (e.g., Liferay Developer Certification) would be a plus.

Our client is a digital HR platform/employment service that connects 800’000 companies and 9 million workers within the Middle-East region. The project positions itself as a marketplace of workers within the country that allows domestic companies to search for workers’ profiles of aspecific skill set for proposing job opportunities. This includes, but is not limited to, work permission procedures, visa prolongation, contract signing and CV storage.
