Required skills
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal or external audit;
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate working environment;
- Experience leading or taking part in digital transformations of IT processes;
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application will be considered as plus;
- Proven expertise in scaled Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFE, LeSS, NEXUS, etc) will be considered as plus;
- Expertise in business process design, process documentation (e.g. BPMN),writing policies, requirement gathering and user training;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- Understanding of IT SDLC stages;
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment of the IT industry;
- Previous experience interacting with regulatory authorities or handling compliance audits is considered a plus;
- Understanding of industry-specific regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS, ISO) and general compliance laws;
- The ability to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks within the organization;
- Strong ability to review policy and procedure documentation, reports for accuracy and consistency, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to draft policies, reports, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders;
- Capable of quickly identifying and addressing compliance issues, process GAPS and finding practical solutions that adhere to regulations while minimizing business disruption;
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and aligned with the latest regulations;
- Act as the primary point of contact for external regulators and ensure timely submission of required documentation;
- Being ready for business trips.
Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with compliance news and frameworks;
- Interact with customers to identify GAPS in the policies and processes and find solution to boost efficiency and compliance with local regulations;
- Review and improve business processes to ensure they meet developed documentation and regulatory requirements;
- Work with teams to develop risk mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize compliance and operational risks;
- Assist with or conduct internal audits to ensure departments are compliant with regulations and company policies;
- Work with teams to gather and document compliance needs and translate them into actionable plans;
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business requirements for the technical and operations teams;
- Lead initiative to create and maintain company policies and procedures;
- Prepare pre-defined status reports for internal teams, management and regulatory bodies;
- Work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment on compliance goals, especially cybersecurity;
- Lead or contribute to related projects, ensuring that deadlines and defined requirements are met;
- Assist with the implementation of new compliance systems in accordance with the Governance department requirements;
- Analyze the impact of regulatory changes on business processes and recommend solutions for adapting;
- Review presented audit findings and work on corrective action plans to ensure ongoing compliance;
- Identify opportunities to enhance business processes, streamline workflows, and ensure continuous compliance with minimal disruption to business operations.

Our client is a digital HR platform / employment service that connects 800’000 companies and 9 million workers within the Middle-East region.
The project positions itself as a marketplace of workers within the country that allows domestic companies to search for workers’ profiles of a specific skill set for proposing job opportunities.
This includes, but not limited to, work permission procedures, visa prolongation, contracts signing and CV storage.
