Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, or similar experience in Computer Science, IT Engineering or relevant field;
  • 3+ years of experience MS SQL Server Administration experience required or similar experience with managing SQL Server databases;
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models;
  • Experience working with Windows server, including Acrive Directory;
  • Experience with managed cloud (Azure SQL);
  • Flexible, team player personality;
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently;
  • Ability to multitask and context switch effectively between different activities and teams;
  • Upper-intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of new solutions, services and the implementation in the SQL area;
  • Maintain the standard configurations of SQL databases servers, services, and processes to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security, in accordance with products requirements for operations;
  • Apply data modeling techniques to ensure standardization such that performance and integration support efforts meet expectations;
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes;
  • Perform SQL server installation, configuration and troubleshoot;
  • Perform regular SQL server monitoring maintaining a proactive approach;
  • Ensuring the security, integrity overall health of data;
  • Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
